According to MISNA, in the town of Makobola, in the south of Kivu region fit 400 died. We do not know by which fraction?

MISNA, the agency reported 500 died in a village located in the South-East of Ex-Zaire. In the article of Le Soire of January 7th 1999, according to the news paper, the father Giulio Albanese, responsible of agency, it was one of the worst massacres in République démocratique du Congo: Ils ont été tués à la machette et par balles. Cela a duré trois jours. This atrocity took place in December 30th, and in January the first, in three districts of Makobola, in the South Kivu. La plupart de ces rebelles ont été tués, d'autres ont fui.” the village itself is very small and do not contain these numbers of inhabitant, however, during the end of December, the RCD fought against Burundians rebels of 4oo, most of these rebels were killed and other had flee.

And MISNA reported: in august 98, discovered 200, both massacred by rebels. Yet, after the investigation, reported by AP and AFP, it was a confrontation between a group of RDC and militias of Mai-Mai. And the maximum death would be 40 persons.

MISNA: october 21, 1999, discovery of 61 civilians’ body near the village of Kashambi, border with Burundi.

The source and affirmation of MISNA could be questioned, because in the article of Le Soire: after a certain declaration from the middle of ecclesiastical Congolese, these information could be a machination, for the purpose of religious order.
